CommsConsultants welcomes professionals with at least 3 years of experience working in communications, PR, marketing or creative services.

You do not need to have prior consulting experience to join us.

In fact, many of our members had no idea how to take the leap from full-time employee to professional consultant before joining CC.

What’s the likelihood of landing a client through CC?

We actually don't have that data available for many reasons - the biggest is that the majority of our opportunities are actually shared between members, or they're happening directly and confidentially between members and clients.

No one works through CC, messages through CC or gets paid through CC. We're not a placement firm. We just surface leads for folks to capitalize on, and we make it possible to network in a productive way, within an exclusive space.

We can’t promise anyone that they’ll land a client through our network. But here’s what we can promise. If you do book work, we won’t take a cut of your fees. Ever.

How many clients do you get in my region / in my specialty?

Since we launched in 2024, we’ve had a huge diversity of client inquiries - from tiny businesses to Fortune 100 brands. Client industries and requests vary greatly, and we’ve had clients come in from many different countries. It’s impossible to predict what will come in next, as we continue to grow our global reach.

Additionally, it’s important to remember that the majority of the leads and opportunities going to our members (about 60%) are actually coming from your fellow members - not from CC. They’re posted to our community hub by members, or they’re surfaced in 1:1 networking. These opps are as diverse as our member population, which spans countries, industries, specialties and levels.
